Sticking with your Diet

If you were to ask just about anyone if they had ever gone on a diet, you would probably get a 'yes' response from the majority of people. It is just a fact of life that as we age we will gain weight unless we change our eating and exercise habits.

Staying with a diet has many challenges. My biggest challenge is week-ends. Sometimes you just need a break from all the schedules and restrictions. Many diets allow for one day a week of eat whatever you want.

Of course if you decide to go with the 'free' day, it will be very important to not stray too far off the path. Getting back to your schedule and daily allotted calories will be extra hard if you over-indulge just one day.

So if you are on a diet and really work at it throughout the week, following all the rules and recommendations, then why not give yourself a free day once in awhile. See more details on diets and sticking with them.
