Is your diet working?

How do you know if your diet is working? Well the definitive measure is if you have lost any weight, or if your clothing feels looser.

One thing that I have noticed with my diet is that if I focus on my weight--by weighing myself all the time--it seems like my weight loss comes to a grinding halt.

A very good way to start a successful diet plan is to focus your energy on eating a balanced diet and creating a food journal to record everything. Sometimes it seems like you haven't eaten anything all day, but if you were to actually write everything down you might be surprised by the calories you have taken in.

When you graze by the office lunchroom and nibble on whatever snacks or treats there are -- those calories do count.

Having a food journal is the way to go. Start one today so that you can start successfully losing weight. After all, why waste all that energy on thinking about what you eat and then not lose any weight. Make your efforts worthwhile and lose weight.
